I had a beautiful time at the Izuoshima ride.
The Nitto Campee Cross Front Rack that our friend Jackie-san had on his bike caught my attention. Just the fact that it is a Nitto product is lovely, but I really like how the rack has light mounts.

The extensions on the sides are meant to put pannier bags on for touring, but you could easily remove them with 5mm Allen Keys, so you could easily switch between a bikepacking set up, or a daily set up.
Another thing is that the rack does not interfere with canti brakes, v-brakes.
A lot of people use the Nitto M-1B Front Rack for a front basket setup, which the max load capacity is 5kg. The Campee is also a great rack for baskets and could withstand up to 16kg.
Price wise, the M-1B is better, but if you like going on bike tours or you often carry a lot of stuff on your basket, I’d like to recommend the Campee Cross Front rack.
