A flat bar that Mike Varley, the owner of Black Mountain Cycles have designed.
Zero rise with 16° backsweep. When setting up the bar making the logo face straight, the bar will sit in a perfect angle for your hands. Mike has designed the bars to make the bars sit lower than the saddle, as that’s how he prefers to ride.
It was named “Bar None”, from the 0° rise and since they are the bar none handlebars to him.
My personal favorite thing about them is that the straight section of the bar is the same length as a Wald 137 basket. It looks so good when you look at the bike from this angle. You get it right?
I highly recommend this handlebar to 137 users.
The bar you see in the image is trimmed down to 700mm, which I think is the shortest you can go, if you are going to run thumb shifters.
No, you don’t have to Black Mountain bike to install these handlebars. They actually look great with other bike brands too.
It is a very simple handlebar, but simplicity is always the key!
